Featuring an available maximum towing capacity of up to 36,000 lbs, the 2024 GMC Sierra HD has the strength for any job, with a standard 6.6-liter V8 gas engine producing 401 horsepower and 464 lb-ft of torque. The available Duramax® 6.6-liter turbo-diesel engine has been upgraded with an all-new, more efficient turbocharger for a massive 470 horsepower alongside 975 lb-ft of torque, plus other improvements like an all-new combustion system, an all-new engine controller, and new cylinder heads with enhanced cooling jackets. 

No matter which engine you opt for, this new GMC truck comes equipped with a quick-shifting Allison® ten-speed automatic, a step up from the six-speed version of previous model years.

The 2024 GMC Sierra HD boasts the most trailering-assistance technologies in its class. ProGrade™ Trailering Tech adds a comprehensive suite of features to make any job easier, including:
